RESCONI participated in the Regional Workshop of the Center of Excellence for Biodiversity and Ecosystems in West Africa (CEBio-Eco/WA) Project Partners’ Coalition.

The Resource Conservation Initiative (RESCONI) participated in the Regional Workshop of the Center of Excellence for Biodiversity and Ecosystems in West Africa (CEBio-Eco/WA) Project Partners’ Coalition held from the 9th - 11th July 2025 in Accra, Ghana.
The Workshop brought together key institutions committed to preserving West Africa’s ecosystems. The objective of the Workshop was to share and validate the deliverables of the second Semi-Annual Report, plan the project’s second year (July 2025 – June 2026), and highlight key results achieved with the support of BIOPAMA II.

Over three days, representatives from member countries, technical and financial partners, and members of the #OBAPAO consortium (#CSE, #RAMPAO, #RMC, #AGRHYMET) discussed the project’s progress, biodiversity governance, the regional conservation strategy, and the institutionalization of the OBAPAO Observatory.

Following this important and successful workshop, RESCONI has been strengthened in its regional cooperation to actively contribute to the implementation of West Africa’s conservation priorities for sustainable ecosystems.
